Community Services Procurement Policy

The Department of Finance, in collaboration with the Departments of the Premier and Cabinet and Treasury, is developing Western Australia’s first State Commissioning Strategy (SCS) for community services to determine how they will be commissioned over the next five years and into the future.

The State Commissioning Strategy discussion paper is now live. Comments will be open until 4:00pm Friday, 3 September 2021. This discussion paper and survey will gain feedback from the community services sector, peak bodies, service users, consumer advocates, and WA community members.

Stakeholder Cohesion

The Strategy aims to improve outcomes for all Western Australians. It will ensure greater cohesion between stakeholders while enabling services to remain agile and better meet the needs of individuals, families, and communities. They value your input and invite you to provide written feedback on the SCS discussion paper which will be available via WA.gov.au from Friday, 30 July 2021.
