Commissioning Update – Communities

The Department of Communities (DoC), Shelter WA and the WA Alliance to End Homelessness have met and discussed the sector co-working sessions and the next phase of the recommissioning of homelessness service contracts.

The System and Services Design Phase will use the information gathered from the co-working sessions and further consultations with service providers to strengthen the current homelessness system and alignment with a Housing First and No Wrong Door approach. DoC is committed to ongoing sector engagement for this phase of commissioning and has indicated their intention to continue working with Shelter WA and the WA Alliance.
