Building Tenancy Skills Co-Design Team

The Building Tenancy Skills Co-Design Team met again on Wednesday, 19 January 2022.

Read about what happened at our very first workshop.

Practical Improvements

In this session co-designers focused on the practical improvements that can be achieved within existing tenancy support services to increase their accessibility to people with diverse experiences of disability. In discussion was Easy English information on websites, captioned videos, downloadable forms accessible to screen readers, and training of frontline staff by people with lived experience of disability.

Participants in this session sit around a table and smile for the camera.

The co-designers are looking forward to meeting with service providers and peak bodies to get these projects happening.
