#HW2023 | Lotterywest Cheque Presentation

The WA Government, through a Lotterywest grant has supported Homelessness Week 2023.

The presentation of these funds was made by the Hon. John Carey MLA, Minister for Planning; Lands; Housing; Homelessness at the offices of Shelter WA.

The grant supports more than 20 projects, events, or initiatives spread across regional WA and Perth metropolitan areas.

This is in addition to the Shelter WA suite of events being held over two days.

With the support of Lotterywest Shelter WA offered grants of up to $2,000 available to host an event prior to or during Homelessness Week exploring the theme of ending homelessness and up to $5,000 available to support projects, initiatives, or organisational capacity building that will contribute towards ending homelessness in the local area.

Homelessness Week runs from Monday, 7 to 11 August. A list of events can be viewed.
