The Department of Planning is undertaking consultation with the community on Planning Reform Phase 2.

Red Tape

This phase is looking at options to make the planning system work better for the community and landowners; aims the streamline processes and cut unnecessary red tape; and get the best outcomes for our cities, towns and suburbs. They are inviting people to tell them what they think should happen next to shape our planning system. The planning system plays a critical role in facilitating social and affordable housing and diverse and inclusive communities.
