COVID-19 Direct Care Skill Set
Want to ensure your staff are safe and job-ready for the risks associated with their roles during the COVID-19 pandemic?
The Western Australian Government has rolled out free short courses in infection control to help customer-facing businesses work safely and train staff in safe infection control practices in the workplace.
The COVID-19 Direct Care Skill Set is suited to aged care, disability support, home and community care settings and has been tailored to meet industry needs.
Available at TAFE
This free course is available online at your local TAFE college and participating private registered training organisation, providing flexibility for your business to train staff when it suits you.
Employees will learn:
• how to use personal protective equipment safely;
• how to prevent the spread and transmission of infection; and
• how to maintain a clean work environment.
Accredited Vocational Qualifications
Employees who complete this nationally recognised training may also be eligible to receive credit in a range of accredited vocational qualifications where infection control skills are required.
Support your team by enabling them to gain the up-to-date skills and knowledge they need to reduce the risk and transmission of infection in the workplace.
