“Highlighting a local social enterprise doing amazing work in our community provides another avenue for anyone to be involved in Homelessness Week,” said Shelter WA CEO Michelle Mackenzie.

During Homelessness Week, some of the community want to contribute to ending homelessness in a tangible way, having a local fundraiser allowed this to happen and I thank everyone who donated.”

Founder and CEO of The Underground Collaborative, Katie Liew thanked Shelter WA.

“Thanks to everyone who donated and for the wonderful support,” she said.

“The funds raised will allow us to continue providing training, employment and support at Ground+Co, and will also contribute towards developing our employment strategy so we are able to reach more women and young people.”
