The extension will allow us to incorporate findings of the research being undertaken by the Centre for Social Impact, UWA, on behalf of Shelter WA.

Shelter WA has received an extension and will be providing a submission to the inquiry by Friday, 1 April 2022.
Submissions should be received no later than Friday, 11 March 2022.
Shelter WA looks forward to working with our members and partners to respond to the inquiry, and more broadly as we continue to advocate for social and affordable housing and ending homelessness in Western Australia.
The working group will meet on a quarterly basis, in alignment with the Supporting Communities Forum schedule.
An initiative to build a collaborative partnership between the WA Government and the community services sector, a key contributor to economic growth, employment and community wellbeing, particularly for vulnerable Western Australians.
Ruah Community Services has, in partnership with St Patrick’s Community Support Centre and Wungening Aboriginal Corporation, been awarded $6.9 million to provide accommodation and wraparound supports to people in need across the Perth metropolitan area.
The following statement calling for an end to the Fremantle ‘tent city’ is expressed jointly by St Patrick’s Community Support Centre; Uniting WA; Wungening Aboriginal Corporation and Ruah Community Services.
The final draft was presented to the Department of Communities, the co-design participants and other Sector representatives at a launch event in July 2020.
