50 Lives 50 Homes Manager, Leah Watkins is the only Western Australian to have attended the Housing First Europe Hub Train-the-Trainer project. Leah presented the agreed upon Australian principles for Housing First.
Leah also walked through the ‘By Name List’ data for Perth, WA.
By-Name List explained
The key components of a By-Name List include ensuring that your system is touching everyone who is homeless in your community; that you can accurately assess who is entering your homeless system on an ongoing basis; and that you can accurately track their progress through the system, including how successful you are in implementing prioritization and providing permanent housing to those who need it.
