Over a four year period, the program expects to assist 10,000 vulnerable WA households to reduce their living costs through low tech energy efficiency upgrades.
The two modular homes are being delivered through existing investment and are on top of the 150 modular homes for regional WA.
Years of under-investment into social housing has led to more than 16,000 households on the social housing waitlist with families waiting years for a home.
