PhD Scholarships

Two PhD scholarships are currently available, funded by Curtin University to support an Australian Research Council (ARC) Future Fellowship research project.

The research project is entitled ‘Home ownership and housing wealth: ageing and intergenerational pathways’ led by Professor Rachel Ong ViforJ.

Research Gaps

The scholarship project will fill major research gaps by delivering new evidence on intergenerational housing wealth inequality. It will generate new knowledge on the ways in which baby boomers manage housing wealth, and shed light on their experiences of using wealth transfers to improve their children’s housing outcomes.

The project offers innovative quantitative and qualitative analyses that will produce internationally relevant findings.
