  • Project Officer

Project Funding

Shelter WA has received three-year project funding to support people with lived experience of homelessness and housing insecurity to engage with government, the community sector and the broader community to inform and participate in housing and homeless policy and advocacy. This project aims to build the capacity and capability of people with lived experience through a number of identified projects, with a new project team working in partnership with people with lived experience and a project advisory group, to achieve project outcomes. These two roles require people with a proven ability to collaborate with people of lived experience, and to facilitate their voice to project partners. The successful applicants will be respectful of diversity, and trauma informed, with the ability to work collaboratively with a range of people to deliver the outcomes sought. They understand how to work with an advisory group and to utilise co-design processes.
