  • Renting not an affordable option for 1/3 of Western Australians, according to latest Rental Affordability Index (RAI).
  • The McGowan Government made two major investments both into much needed social housing and the development of the first 10-Year Strategy on Homelessness.
  • And work on the HOME Project continues with media skills being covered to empower the group for lived experience engagement.

Plus much more including, the Australian Government’s $60 million Safe Places Emergency Accommodation capital grant round is now open and the WA Alliance to End Homelessness release their Youth Homelessness Action Plan in conjunction with the Youth Affairs Council of WA.
