About this member: WestAus will assist and support vulnerable people in crisis within the Peel community to find assistance that fits individual needs, responding with flexibility, respect and dignity in a culturally appropriate way.

We aim to work alongside these agencies rather than making the mistake of duplicating established services. From 1992 to 2003 WestAus was run mainly through the generosity of public donations, we were a volunteer based agency. In 2004 we applied and won the tender for Advocacy and Support Peel under the State Government to assist people in the Peel Region who were having trouble maintaining their private rental and at risk of becoming homeless. WestAus will offer these clients a range of services to overcome their individual circumstances.
