Federal, state and local government have a raft of policy levers at their disposal that can either facilitate or hinder the provision of social and affordable housing and housing markets.

Shelter WA’s policy positions recommend a suite of evidence-based policy solutions that will deliver an effective housing system for all Western Australians. These positions were developed in consultation with representatives from the sector and endorsed by the Shelter WA Board. They provide a strong evidence base for our housing and homelessness advocacy work.
