Thanks to the generous support of the Salvation Army, the National Homelessness Conference 2020 is offering a limited number of supported registrations for people with a lived experience to attend this year’s conference.
The conference committee is seeking applications from throughout Australia and from across the spectrum of people known to experience homelessness. This includes women who have experienced domestic and family violence, young people, Aboriginal people, older people, people from culturally and linguistically diverse people, people from regional and remote locations and people who identify as LGBTIQ. We also encourage applications from people who have experienced different forms of homelessness such as rough sleeping and couch surfing.
The applications will be considered by Homelessness Australia to ensure people with a range of experiences of homelessness can participate in the conference.
