Shelter WA is seeking a Request for Quote (ROQ) from suitably qualified and experienced organisations to provide infection control expertise to WA not-for-profit residential and non-residential specialist homelessness services, community housing organisations (CHOs) and congregate living facilities.
Feedback from the sector indicates there is broad disparity of knowledge and awareness with adopting infection control measures in services. With increasing prevalence of COVID-19 in the community, this program will support services with infection control management to ensure their policies and practice are relevant, appropriate and manages risk.
The program will include conducting infection control COVID-19 management assessments and providing advice and guidance for improved infection control measures in line with good practice and public health directives as we shift to living with COVID-19. This project will align with public health directives as they are updated by the State Health Incident Coordination Centre (SHICC) and complement the existing systems in place to support service providers.
The funding for this program has been provided by Lotterywest and the project acquittal will be managed by Shelter WA with support from the successful provider.
