Amber has a lived experience of disability. She has a background in advocacy, access and inclusion planning, and in creating resources in different formats such as plain English.
As a passionate advocate, Amber promotes a whole-of-community approach and the key principles of co-design, where people with disability are involved directly in the development and implementation of plans, programs and services that may affect them.
Amber has worked in access and inclusion for the past 30 years and brings to the role her lived experience of disability, in addition to the wealth of knowledge she has gained through working with others from different backgrounds and cultures.
