Shelter WA Membership

There are three membership categories as follows:
Management Committee
- Access Management Committee area on Website
- Contribute to strategic and policy directions of Shelter WA
- Voting rights at General Meetings
- Receive all Shelter WA publications
- Join SWA Update, Shelter WA's housing policy and research email update list
Full members, Reciprocal Members, Low Income Consumer Members:
Organisations and individuals who support, promote and adhere to the philosophy and objectives of the Association and who pay the fee as prescribed in the by-laws. Full members are entitled to:
- Voting rights at General Meetings
- Nominate for positions on the Management Committee
- Join SWA Update, Shelter WA's housing policy and research email update list
- Receive Shelter WA electronic publications
Associate members
Government organisations and individuals who are employed in housing-related government departments are not eligible for full membership, but can join as associate members of Shelter WA.
Associate members are entitled to:
- Join SWA Update, Shelter WA's housing policy and research email update list
Shelter WA will post hard copies of Updates, Newsletters and Reports on a cost recovery basis. Payment must be made prior to mailing any documents.
Hard Copy costs at 1 January 2010 are: Australia Post postage + 15c per page
