Shelter WA Joint Event - Planning for Housing Affordability

State and local government planning frameworks can play a major role in facilitating diverse social and affordable housing options. Councils can plan to ensure there is an appropriate supply and mix of housing to meet community needs and can encourage the construction of affordable housing.

Shelter WA, in partnership with the Property Council, City of Fremantle and the Planning Institute of Australia, is hosting a discussion on the FREMANTLE ALTERNATIVE – a planning amendment and its broader implications for housing affordability. This event will provide a unique insight, from an industry, government and non-government perspective, on planning innovation to deliver greater housing choice.
